Folders

Clamp Folder

The Clamp Tab’s main folder “Clamp” resides in the root:Packages folder along with NeuroMatic’s main folder. In this folder are all the necessary variables and waves for acquisition and the tab control interface. Folders can easily be viewed using Igor Pro’s Data Browser (Data > Data Browser) as shown above.

Stims Folder

Individual stimulus protocols now reside in the folder “Stims”. If you are creating your own stimulus waves (i.e. MyDAC or MyTTL waves) you will need to place your waves inside the correct stimulus folder. Above, three stimulus protocols are shown: Vstep, iv and Random100Hz.

Notes Folder

The “Notes” folder resides in the root:Packages folder and contains all numeric and string note variables created by the user. After recording, a copy of this folder is placed in the current data folder and in the log folder. See Notes.

Logs Folder

The “Logs” folder resides in the root folder (here nm05Sep08c0_log0) and contains a copy of each Notes folder for a particular cell, and can be displayed as either a table or notebook. See Logs.

NeuroMatic Data Folder

A NeuroMatic data folder will reside in the root folder (here nm05Sep08c1_002) and contain the acquired data, a copy of the stim folder used to acquire the data, a copy of the Notes folder, channel folders to hold the channel display variables, and all other variables and waves necessary to interact with NeuroMatic, such as the Set and Group waves. See Files / Folders.
